These mufflers are cheaper alternatives to the original style mufflers. Flange sold by itself lets you use a muffler of your own. 3/4" will work on 72, 82, 92 engines. The 1/2" will sometimes be too much back pressure for the 82 & 92 engines, depending on how you have it tuned and running.
