This is a very nice and well written book by the famous C.H. Wendel from Atkins, Iowa. This book was originally published in 1982 and then reprinted in 1987 by Stemgash Publishing Company. It covers the history of Fairbanks engines as well as a brief part in the beginning about the Fairbanks Eclipse windmill and also Fairbanks scales.
Fairbanks, as you know, is one of the largest engine manufactures from days gone by and produced a wide variety of engines and many different horse powers and ratings, both stationary and portable in single cylinder and multiple cylinder engines.
This is a very well put together book with lots of information as well as old photographs and copies of advertisements. This is a very nice book to read with a wealth of information for any Fairbanks or gas engine enthusiast. The book measures 8.5" x 11". 100 pages.
